Book Dream

I had a wonderful dream last night. I dreamed about sundry things, but one of the best was the book sale.

There is a special, once-a-year used book sale near where I live. I didn't get to go last year, and I don't know if I'll get to go this year, but I went in my dream last night.

I think I knew it was a dream, because I knew everything wasn't really where it was supposed to be. (And one section was inexplicably labelled "Mystery" when it was actually 99 percent children's books.) There was another section that had "Easy Reader Fantasy," which had many thick volumes of fantasy books from a couple of series. I took a look at one, and they were just as thick as regular fantasy books, but the print was slightly larger.

I remember being extremely happy. Books everywhere. I had plenty of things I wanted to look for, including a dictionary (because I couldn't find mine the other day & figured I needed to buy a new one).

They were also selling mint plants. I wanted to buy one, but resisted.

Reading this over, I think I understand why I dreamed some of the things. We recently bought some especially pungent dried mint for tea. It makes the strongest mint tea I've ever tasted, and I've been wondering why it's so strong.

I've also been lately pondering why "large print" books are sometimes not very "largely" printed at all.

And the children's books being labelled "Mystery" -- my entry into the Genesis contest, which has naturally been on my mind a lot, is a children's mystery. I think my right brain still isn't sure it can actually be both.
