Writing Again~!

Well, I'm writing again. Have been for a bit, actually. It's getting easier. Yes, and more fun. I'm also still reading voraciously.

Right now I'm writing a re-take of a story I once wrote, with a different premise this time. I'm letting it flow; we'll see what comes about with it.

Yesterday I got an email encouraging me to submit one of my stories to a publisher. Even though the person hasn't read the story, only heard a blurb about it, I'm very happy. Sometimes I feel like I'm just waiting for someone to encourage me to submit this story or that (even though who knows about them but me?). It's as though I need a push to get past my own lack of confidence in my stuff. Anyway, I'm actually considering that move now.

Also: saw the Narnia movie today! Nice. ^_^

Tomorrow my brother is taking me to see about computer repair. I'm so excited about it that I can hardly talk about it. If it works -- if it works -- ! I'll get back two of my lost stories. (Remind me to never got without a hardcopy again.) xD Actually, I have a hardcopy of most of one, although it was demoralizing to have it no longer on a computer. But the other one I had no other copy of and have missed sorely -- even though it wasn't finished or 'important.'

Ah. Hope again! Thank the Lord for that.

No matter how many times I told myself it didn't matter, I never really believed it. It hurt to lose that! It was special to me.

You don't realize how much a story means to you until you lose it.

I shouldn't have mentioned this; I'm starting to feel anxious about it now.
