Do You Have Milk?

A group is lobbying the milk council to change their catch phrase "Got Milk," to something more Englishly correct, such as "Do You Have Milk?"

The "Shouldn't People Enunciate English Correctly? Council," (SPEEC), has not gotten far with its campaign.

"Most people just don't care about English, you know," said a high-up councilperson on the Milk Council of America. He declined to be named in this article.

Controversy surrounding milk's catch-phrase has reached to the highest echelons of society, as the Secretary of Labor was quoted as saying, "Got Labor?" At the outcry of an indignant public, he since retracted his statement and issued an apology. "I had not wish to offend the Englishly correct, or to offend the Milk Council of America," he said.

"Things like this show we are making progress," said Musk Spend, the secretary of SPEEC. "We're making progress."

He also said the public of America should refrain from drinking milk as a boycott, until such time as the Milk Council of America should reflect the proper English "of this find land." (sic)
