A Rejection E-Mail

Well, I heard back from the dragon anthology.

Here's a copy:

the ideas you included in this story. Unfortunately,
the writing is not quite up to the calibre we're
looking for. Your storytelling ability does show
promise, and with practice it's likely you'll find
success, but we're sorry to say we cannot accept this
submission.

Well, I don't know if they're right or not, but I think I'll shop it around a little more before rewriting it (because re-writing it could ruin it).

The worst thing about hearing back is that now I have to find somewhere else to send it.

Maybe I'll send it to GateWay S-F and see what they think. I really ought to send it somewhere I haven't been accepted at, though.
