Not voting, but fighting chickens
I didn't vote today.
This is the first time in a long while that I haven't voted on a voting day.
My brother and my parents went. The only important thing to vote about was the question. I didn't know anything about the people running so I said I wasn't going. And so far I haven't. Even though I probably ought to, because of the question.
Anyway, today I fought a chicken.
Actually, the chicken fought me. I just kinda kicked out to scare it.
We stopped to get free-range chicken eggs. When I ran back to the car to get more money for some guinea eggs ($1.00 for a dozen, instead of $2.00 for X-large chicken eggs), and then ran back, the chickens scattered. But when I started back for the car, one of the roosters came at me.
It boxed me with its wings.
Hm. Chicken wings... sounds good.
My brother said now I'll be making chicken jokes all day, and he's right.
Actually it was kind of fun. A chicken attacked me. Doesn't sound like fun, does it? But it made me laugh.
It was crowing when we left. Like it had won.
I can't wait to go back and let it know who's boss. ;)
The chicken eggs are good, too.
Ah well. Off to do some typing, and then watch "Gilmore Girls" with my mother. (Appropriate, eh?)
