Wodehouse, and "House"
Well, it's all right now.
I finished The Thin Man, but before I had a chance to start on any of Hammett's short stories, I started on P.G. Wodehouse's Wooster and Jeeves stories. That's all right, then. It'll keep me busy.
I tried to read them when I was maybe 15, but (I suppose naturally) the reading was too hard and the jokes didn't make sense to me. Now it's fun.
I got the idea to try the author again after watching some videos of Wooster and Jeeves -- Wooster played by a young Hugh Laurie. (He now plays Dr. House on "House.") It's fun.
I must say, although Laurie's character as Wooster is much more fun (and funny), he's actually better looking when he plays House. Some guys just look better with a little age on them.

I agree! Hugh Laurie has gotten better as he grew older. House is a cool character anyway. On the other hand Wooster is such a fool, likeable but very foolish. Makes us see that this guy has range and likely we haven't seen ALL that he can do. I like him, too!
