Bradbury

I borrowed some more Bradbury, and started reading it today. I want to write like him. That might sound pretentious... I don't mean really write like Bradbury, because only he could really do that, just that I'd like to bring out more of that... intensity and imaginative descriptions in my own stories.

Sometimes I have written like that, and it's really nice. Capturing a feeling, an emotion or making a clear picture of something. I want to do that more. Because if you can't make yourself (and ultimately other people) feel reading your stories, what do they really accomplish?

Things that don't make one feel are just... nothing. You don't remember them, maybe don't even finish reading them.


On a (slightly) related note, my story which sold for $10.00 is now posted online! :D

And I finished watching The Lost Room today. I thought it was really imaginative. I loved it!
